Summary
The SQL pad provides direct access to our database. Being web based you avoid all of the access, firewall and security issues that a normal application SQL tool would entail.
SQL pad is provided by a third party vendor and in conjunction with AWS Redshift it uses Postgres protocols but with some limitations.

How To Access
To open the "SQL Pad" use the URL fcaspays.com and click on the database symbol in the left hand navigation bar.
Next, you will be prompted for your SQLPad login (note that this is different to your FCASpays login). Enter your credentials and Signin.
If you don't have a SQLPad account, then click on 'Sign up' and follow the instructions below.
First time users - sign up
New users of SQLPad will have to sign up for a separate account for SQLPad from your normal fcaspays login.
Go to https://sql.fcaspays.com.au/signup and enter your email address and password and click sign up.
On successful sign up, you will be logged directly into the app.
Error: Email address not whitelisted
If you get an error that 'email address not whitelisted', please contact support@pdview.com.au or send a message via chat and we will add access for your company to be able to sign up.
