SummaryDescribes how to move between daeg and haeg pages and what can be done in each page.  Applies to WAEG where applicable.

Navigation logic.

Clickable objects and icons in DAEG change colour when hovered over.  Green icons or cells are active and inactive icons are grey.

The layout of DAEG is hierarchical.  Timestamps are on the top row as well as general navigation options such as help.  The second row allows one or more regions to be toggled as well as the time frame (p5min and/or predispatch) and the view type (summary view and/or data from all time intervals).  The third layer is specific to the arrangement of the data such as grouping by fuel type.  In the main body of data individual generation groups and region data may be hidden so that only the objects of interest are visible.

Table (Home) Page

DAEG is designed for looking at only the data you want.  You can select any number of regions and you can hide any number of generation groups or region variables.  You can select either or both the p5min and predispatch data as well as all of the data or just the summary data and sparklines.   You can even look at the change in values between both the previous settlementdate and/or the previous rundatetime.

Note that many of the functions described below are available in other pages.

For Day Ahead data this page shows the average value for the period(s) when the price is the maximum for both today and tomorrow.   For Hour Ahead data it shows the maximum value in the hour ahead.

For both DAEG and HAEG all values are shown.  New to this page are deltas for both settlementdate and runtime.  The settlementdate delta button shows the delta between the corresponding value and the value for the previous settlementdate.  The runtime delta button shows the delta between the corresponding value and the value for the previous runtime.  Both buttons can be engaged.

Click on a generation group to create a chart for the latest rundatetime.  You can add any of the three previous rundatetimes by clicking on the legend keys.  You can create a chart of the full history of a single settlementdate by clicking on the chart at the settlementdate you wish to view.

You may download the latest rundatetime data as a CSV file by clicking "download data" under "options" in the top right corner of the screen.

You may automate the collection and insertion of all data by installing our "fetch package".  This package includes all of the create table scripts, the collect data scripts (.NET Core 2.0), authentication, logging and insert scripts.  Generally it takes less than an hour to install.

The data fetch package is free with any subscription.  Note that the package is not support because you will edit it to suite your own internal protocols.  The API is supported.
