Differences between WAEG and DAEG

Visual cues on timestamps

The DATA PUBLICATION Timestamp cell turns orange when the input data have been published but the solver is still running hence the results have yet to be updated in WAEG.

The PD7DAY RUNTIME cell then turns blue once the WAEG data have been updated.  The blue persists for one hour after data update during which time the blue gets progressively lighter in colour.

Other differences

Unlike DAEG and HAEG, WAEG is a separate application and there is no mixing of DAEG or HAEG data.  WAEG is a week ahead version of DAEG however DAEG and like DAEG the numbers in the summary table view show the average generation during the highest price period(s) of the DAY.  Nonetheless there are a number of differences between WAEG and DAEG which are summarised as follows:

1. WAEG only works in Chrome!
2. There is less information for WAEG to consume which means the generation groups can be different compared with DAEG (or HAEG).  At the time of writing only some QLD groups are impacted and there is no information available to show the Torrens Island group in SA. 
3. "Help", "Account Info" and links to other applications have been moved to the left hand side navigation bar.  Table and chart view icons have been moved alongside row optionsYou can expand and shrink this navigation bar.
4. You can deactivate remove column data for any number of days.  Note that this impacts charts too hence you can have so beware of non-contiguous times in a chartperiods. 
5. There are no events nor is there an "all interval" page and hence there are no deltas.  We will plan to introduce a visual to highlight changes to expected generation profiles important deltas however we're not sure of the best way to do this so we'd like to think about it first.  Any suggestions are welcome., part of the problem is the large volume of data. 
6. The last three previous rundatetimes will be added to graphs sooncharts, so too the full rundatetime history chart for a single settlementdate. 
7. The GUI in all of our services uses REACT code however WAEG looks a little bit different to DAEG and HAEG because we use a different REACT library.  DAEG and HAEG will be updated one day so it looks at some stage at which time it will look like WAEG.   WAEG has it
8. 's own URL and data will not be combined with DAEG or HAEG data sources.  The main reason is that WAEG is updated only three times per day. Note that if DAEG data exists for the same datetime WAEG does not replace these datetimes with DAEG data.  Hence for the current day (DAY 0) and DAY 1 after 12:30 you should refer to DAEG data for the latest expected generation.

The chart is similar to DAEG however it does not yet have the option to chart the previous 3 rundatetimes, nor can your click on a bar to see the full rundatetime history of the settlementdate.
