Description
The Home Page is a dashboard that shows the current Submit Mode of the Autobidder, the current Acknowledged bids and a rolling history of automated processes and states for each unit and service and the Active Acknowledged Bids for a given settlementdate and service.

Submit Mode

Optimal Bids are always being reformulated, irrespective of the Submit Mode, and bid submission occurs at a point within the reformulation cycle. When this point is reached the autobidder checks the current submit mode and the new optimal bid is either submitted or not submitted.
Therefore switching the submit mode does not trigger (or stop) a submit bid activity, it effectively opens or closes a gate and when a new bid arrives at the gate it either passes through an open gate and is submitted or it finds the gate closed and it is not submitted.

The algorithms in the Autobidder are always running. When new Algo bids are reformulated the Autobidder checks that all of the following are true before submitting:
that there is a difference between the Algo bid and the Active Acknowledged Bid, and
that the submit mode is ON, and
that the last manual Acknowledged Bid (called the Reference Bid) was an input into the solve cycle that formulated the Algo bid,
(this ensures that the Algo bid is consistent with the latest manual bid).
If any of the above is not true then the Algo bid is not submitted. Either way the optimisation cycle begins anew. See Automated Bid Submission Processes for more detail.
